They're known not only for their high end (but cheap) brushes, but also their insanely affordable eyeshadows and palettes!
So while my brush collection has nearly hit its limits, I couldn't resist picking up some of the brand's shadows.
Now first off I got the 35B, Glam Color Palette.
It's a 35 color eyeshadow palette that contains almost any color you might need. From soft peaches, to bright greens, all the way to smokier blues.
This is essential for anyone looking to expand their kit, or just wanting to play around with some fun colors!
Packaging: 9/10
I personally love the packaging!
It's just a large, plastic black palette with a small mirror and a few foam applicators on the inside.
Now I can see why some people say it seems cheap, but it certainly doesn't look it.
The palette is sleek and professional, and seems like the best possible packaging for 35 full size eyeshadows.
Eyeshadow Quality: 9/10
Overall, the pigmentation of this palette is OUTSTANDING.
However, I was disappointed with about 1 out of every 10 shadows (hence 9/10).
It wasn't that they weren't good quality, they just weren't as great as some of the other shades.
Other than that, they were pigmented, not very chalky, and lasted forever on my lids!
Price: 10/10
This palette was only $19.99!
That's about $0.57 per shadow, which is insane compared to about $6 for makeupgeek and $10 for MAC.
Overall: 9.3/10
This is possibly the best value for any eyeshadow palette I've ever seen!
And despite the bright colors, a lot of them are very easy to use on an everyday basis as well as for a simple pop of color.
I'd have to say that a lot of these shadows were comparable to makeupgeek which is often said to be similar to or even better than MAC!
For only $20, I couldn't live without it.
Swatches:
The colors in this palette don't have names or even numbers unfortunately, so the swatches are done by rows, and don't have color descriptions under them.
Also note that all of these were done with one swipe, so I didn't layer up the colors to get this pigmentation!
